Izakman, the young aspiring troubadour and an award-winning animator, has already attracted the attention of his local music industry. "Cyber Love" was released worldwide while Izakman finished a year-long tour across Israel and were set to take off to an EU tour when the COVID-19 plague emerged and postponed it. The new ambitious creation is accompanied by two inspiring videos, and it has already gotten them on the roster of the Matala music festival in Crete.
From his home base studio in picturesque port city Jaffa, Izakman’s charismatic frontman Itamar Isaak wrote and composed all album tracks
Izakman takes the audience through simulated reality into the deepest realms of the soul with a wall of sound that spreads like a sonic kaleidoscope. Izakman is the alter ego of Itamar Isaak, who captivates the listeners with his psychedelic rock band. Growing up in an anglophile home with roots from South Africa took Itamar on an English journey. The young Itamar graduated from the prestigious Bezalel Academy for Arts and Design in Jerusalem majoring in animation, and his graduation film won the "best animation" prize of the Beliff film festival in London. After composing music for television and theatre, he formed his own band determined to dedicate his heart and soul to music.
“Cyber Love” includes 12 songs, all sharing in common the theme of absence, which seems rather absurd in a decade in which abundance appears to shape the way we think. The first song to be released “Cyber Love” accompanied by a cinematique video raised high already expectations from the LP. Each song tells a story of its own and resonates sounds from the late '60s or the '70s, yet the lyrics portray a view of our world using fairy tale imagery like Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, and more.
Izakman's live show is a delicious journey fueled with guitar distortions and harmonies that blur the line between imagination and reality. Five brilliant musicians create an on-stage alternative nation, an immersive rock n roll show that you simply cannot resist and has been described as “what the Beatles would have sounded like if they were an acid prog rock band”.
